SimG Co., Ltd. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Japanese company CoaBiz,
marking the start of its full-scale entry into the Japanese market.
This agreement was made possible through an encounter at the 2024 Tokyo XR Fair.
SimG plans to accelerate the distribution of its VR simulators in Japan through this MOU.
At the 2024 Tokyo XR Fair held last July, SimG showcased its flagship product, the VR-Desk type Forklift Simulator for export.
This product is designed in the form of a trunk box and modular parts, making it easy to transport and assemble.
Users can attach it to desks or indoor spaces for training anytime. With minimal space requirements,
it is ideal for safety training in educational institutions and logistics companies.
Notably, SimG has developed and integrated software optimized for Japanese forklift models and training environments.
This allows vocational schools and companies in Japan to train under conditions identical to actual on-site operations, strengthening the localization strategy.
CoaBiz, a business-matching firm that promotes trade between Korea and Japan, highly evaluated SimG’s products, leading to this agreement.
Representatives from CoaBiz visited SimG’s Ulsan office to sign the MOU and pledged to support the expansion of sales networks and marketing in Japan.
A CoaBiz representative stated, “Japan has a growing demand for VR simulators that enhance the efficiency of safety training and job education.
We will work with SimG to drive the growth of the VR training market in Japan.”
Through this MOU, SimG plans to accelerate the development of customized VR simulators for the Japanese market.
Along with hardware, the company will provide software tailored to Japanese forklift models, creating a user-friendly training environment.
Both companies aim to maximize synergy through ▲technology and solution integration ▲joint sales and marketing ▲continuous product improvements.
SimG also plans to use Japan as a foothold to grow into a leading company in the Asian VR education market.
In particular, with Japan facing an aging workforce and labor shortages,
VR simulators are expected to serve as a core solution for safety education and efficient training.
This MOU represents an opportunity for SimG to expand its VR education solutions beyond Japan to the broader Asian market.
It is also expected to contribute to safety and education innovation across Japanese industries.
