SimG Co., Ltd. supplied multi-monitor VR simulators for excavators and forklifts to a high school in Ulsan,
providing software that allows students not only to safely and systematically acquire industrial machinery operation skills but also to obtain certifications,
thereby creating a practical educational environment for students.
In the second half of 2024, SimG officially delivered multi-monitor VR simulators for excavators and forklifts to a high school in Ulsan.
This project was promoted to improve the quality of youth vocational education
and provide a safer and more efficient practical training environment compared to using actual equipment.
The equipment consists of up to five large monitors, enabling an immersive screen experience.
It offers realistic immersion through hardware and software similar to actual working conditions.
Students can progressively learn from basic operations to advanced tasks through simulations,
minimizing the risk of safety accidents during training and improving learning efficiency.
The VR simulators installed this time support training for the two most commonly used heavy machines: excavators and forklifts.
ㆍExcavator module: reproduces frequently occurring work scenarios such as soil transport, leveling, slope work, and operation in confined spaces.
ㆍForklift module: trains core logistics tasks like pallet loading/unloading, driving in narrow spaces, and adjusting cargo stacking height.
The simulators have control levers, pedals, and seats identical to actual equipment.
All learner operation data are recorded in real-time for evaluation, enabling immediate assessment of learning progress.
The biggest advantages of this simulator are safety and efficiency. Practice is possible regardless of time, place, or weather conditions,
and it reduces maintenance costs compared to actual equipment. Repetitive training enhances proficiency,
allowing students to gain operational skills before certification or entering industrial sites.
Educational institutions can design customized curricula with this equipment and
support step-by-step learning using difficulty adjustment and real-time feedback systems.
SimG plans to expand the supply of VR-based industrial machinery education equipment nationwide, starting from Ulsan.
Leveraging its strength in directly developing hardware and software tailored to specific industries and situations,
SimG aims to continue providing a variety of VR equipment in the future.
